3D Sidewalk Paintings and God!

Have you seen the 3D sidewalk paintings that look as if you could walk right into them?  I think they are absolutely amazing!  Don’t you?  Consider this:  Most seeing this worship the Omnipotent, Creator, God the Father of Jesus Christ.  The sidewalk artist makes his work appear to be something one can walk right into or fall into or climb, and the artist creates only an illusion that fools our senses.  God created from nothing a complete multi-dimensional universe including the artist who fools us with their 3D artistry.

One of the dimensions God works in is time!  There is a division in believers concerning Intelligent Design and Creation Science.  ID people say its not necessary to believe in a literal 6 days of creation or a world wide Genesis flood to believe in a Creator God.

I have to agree.  The problem is that doing so makes limits the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent God of Creation to a Designer we can predict logically.  Their reasoning doesn’t include any of the Supernatural characteristics that must, also, logically be part of the very nature of the Creator Who exists in eternity and is very involved in His Creation’s ongoing existence.

God WORKED in time but was not limited BY it!  The view of the past that we have can certainly be God’s artistry to prove to us that He was absolutely correct when He told us that He would make the wisdom of the wise foolishness.  The fact is that we cannot prove empirically that is what He has done.  But REASONABLY do we worship the God of the Bible, or do we worship the God that Intelligent Design laws limit Him to by stopping short of His Supernatural Characteristics?

And that is the question:  Is the Creator God we worship One we can figure out and ID folks know or is He the Creator God who is more about teaching us holiness and righteousness; willing to be mysterious in many ways than being “knowable”.

How Smart Are We?

If I asked you ‘Do you believe you are more intelligent than Benjamin Franklin?’ what would your reply be?  Seriously, not smart-alecky, but honest truth!  How about Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, John Hancock, or any of the other signers of the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution, do you believe you are more intelligent than they were?

Even if you were able to prove that you are, does that mean that you, without taking the time to study and think about what government is supposed to be and do, and without taking the time to thoroughly understand what their ultimate goal was in creating this nation for their children and yours, are you qualified to judge the moral and ethical virtue of what they accomplished?

The true test of your humility as an AMERICAN is your desire to know why those men came to the conclusions they did and were willing to make the sacrifices they did.  Until we have walked in their shoes, at least conceptually, and looked at the world systems through the lens of historical truth, there is no way we can judge whether their work is worth preserving.  There is no way we can pass it on to our children as something of transcendent value if we fail to treat it as such.

Scripture says seek wisdom as gold and precious gems.  The opposition to that idea makes up nearly half of our government today. If we are not governed by men and women who seek wisdom and believe that ALL men (women included) are created equal; if we are not governed by those who know that equality is not measured by material possessions or governmentally guaranteed sameness; If we are not governed by those who FEAR the Lord; we will be governed by despots who think they ARE the Lord!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the truth that our Founders knew first hand.

The book of Genesis Chapter 6 verse 5: And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Has The God of Creation, the Father of Jesus Christ, changed His mind about the state of mankind’s heart since before the flood?

Jeremiah 17:9 says: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The Words of Jesus in Mark 7:21-23:

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

The Israelites demanded a king, just like all the other nations had. The Founders knew that power corrupts and did all they could to delay that happening to their children.  Are we smarter than they?  Aren’t we crying for our president to be king and ‘just fix it’!  Be very careful what you wish for, you just might get it!

Of Compassion and a Snake!

Ya know, this is supposed to be a free country. That means that people are generally free to pursue their own happiness as they see fit…AS LONG AS, that pursuit does not bring harm to others. The ideology of Christianity does NOT call for the destruction or forced subjugation of any and all who do not agree with what we believe. The laws of this nation are constructed around that ideology. As an American I am free to voice my beliefs and you are free to either agree or disagree as you see fit. An ideology (Islam) that calls for the forced subjugation or elimination of all who do not agree cannot peacefully coexist in a nation where we are free to disagree with that ideology.
President Trump tweeted a video today:
A lady came upon a poor half frozen snake in the road. She picked it up and held it to her breast and warmed it and gave it strength. As soon as it was able it bit her trying to kill her. She didn’t understand and asked the snake why it had done such a thing. The snake answered back, What did you expect? I am a snake!
The law of Islam is Sharia. The law of the USA is Judaeo-Christian. The two cannot peacefully coexist. It is up to us civilized people and NOT barbarians, as humanely as possible, to refuse to allow ourselves to fall victim to that which has already shouted from the rooftops that it will kill us as soon as it has the strength to do so.
Any Thoughts?

Cherishing Liberty

Those who have no opinion to express will be RULED by those who do! You could be ruled by those with whom you disagree anyway, but if you have no opinion you don’t really disagree OR AGREE with anyone, do you?
If you refuse to use your Freedom of Speech to express your opinion, What good is having it to begin with?
If you are unsure what opinion you SHOULD have on a particular issue, why not EDUCATE yourself so you have an opinion to EXPRESS and are able to DEFEND IT?
I’m sorry. Is my frustration showing?
Truly cherishing Liberty requires that I try to pass on the passion required to KEEP IT! For making an effort to do that I shall NEVER apologize.

Redefining Nationalism!

Redefining Nationalism!

We have good conservative pundits crying out that nationalism is a bad thing! That it IS the idea of deserved national superiority at the expense of everyone else.

As defined in the online free dictionary: nationalism, political or social philosophy in which the welfare of the nation-state as an entity is considered paramount. Nationalism is basically a collective state of mind or consciousness in which people believe their primary duty and loyalty is to the nation-state. Often nationalism implies national superiority and glorifies various national virtues. Thus love of nation may be overemphasized; concern with national self-interest to the exclusion of the rights of other nations may lead to international conflict.

As defined in Webster’s Seventh New Collegiate Dictionary it is:  nationalism, loyalty and devotion to a nation; esp: a sense of national consciousness exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups.

I must confess right now that I am a nationalist. I consider the UN (a supranational group) to have proven time and again to be anti-American and globalist in its philosophy and ideology.  I am NOT a nationalist by the online dictionary definition with its caveats, but because:

I believe that the USA as envisioned and created by the Founders is the greatest form of government that man has been blessed to live under.

I believe that the USA as envisioned and created by the Founders was not meant to force itself or its ideology on anyone else.  Indeed given the isolationist bent of our country until the opening of the twentieth century, I am certain of it.

So AMERICAN nationalism was never meant to crush other nations or force our will on others.

AMERICAN nationalism recognizes the right of sovereignty that every nation has.

AMERICAN nationalism lauds the freedom of the individual to pursue their dreams unfettered as long as those dreams do not infringe the rights of others to do the same.

AMERICAN nationalism is about defending the inalienable rights of the individual to do and be all they can to IMPROVE the human condition or NOT, as long as they do not harm others.

I could go on but the MEDIA both conservative AND liberal do us all a great disservice when they fail to understand and SHOW the difference between AMERICAN nationalism and the results of virtually every other form of nationalist ideology extant!

AMERICAN nationalism does not seek power over others. AMERICAN nationalism exalts the freedom of the American Citizen to live in freedom and prosperity always willing to help the less fortunate.

The ideology of AMERICAN nationalism is being buried in the distortion of the redefinition and the dumbing down of our citizens and our children makes it ever easier to manipulate us into a crass nationalism that has forgotten the responsibility to our fellow man that our Judaeo-Christian foundation requires of us individually and collectively.

The Founders passed on to us the responsibility to EDUCATE ourselves so that we WOULD NOT fall victim to such tactics.

Am I the only one left to speak up?

The Peril We Face!

The Peril We Face!

25 … Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

29 … how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Please think about this long and hard:

What these verses mean to America.

Verse 25 says to every AMERICAN, not something-American, but AMERICAN that if we allow ourselves to be divided against each other by those lawmakers, instigators, community organizers, globalists, communists, HATERS ALL, who would put personal interests of the moment and the quest for personal power, above the eternal principles of morality and personal responsibility upon which this nation was founded, we will be brought to desolation!!  The Government of We the People is NOT centered in Washington D.C. It is centered in the reason  and conscience of each and every one of US!

Verse 29 reveals the plan they are using against us!  We, the strong man within his own house, has freely allowed those inside who hate him and will do their best to destroy him and spoil his goods.  They are inside his walls, inside his doors, inside his defenses and are using that position of free access to bind him by claiming their right to do as they please inside his walls.  As if their very presence gives them the same rights of ownership as he.  Rights to tear down walls, enslave his children, rape and murder his family, sell or destroy his property, do whatever THEY see FIT! All because HE recognizes that man has inalienable rights and has come to the mistaken belief  that all men are basically good.  Consider Jer. 17:9 and Mark 7:18-23

Jeremiah  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Mark quoting the words of Jesus

18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Lastly Verse 30

We are at a crossroads in our history.  We have not been so divided since the Civil War. The barbarians are not just at the gates they are inside the walls in greater numbers by the day. There are homegrown haters being produced all the time.  America is a land which was founded on the principles of personal freedom and individual responsibility.  Those who are not willing to support and defend those principles, and live up to them in their own lives, are part of the group trying to destroy all that the rest of us hold dear.  We are a nation of laws. We must stand for the enforcement of those laws or we will be destroyed by those who hate.  Those who are not with us are against us.  We operate on the principle of ‘love thy neighbor as thyself.’  They operate on the principle of ‘my way or else’.

Americans need to stand for what America was founded to protect. We must not let ourselves be bound mentally or physically so the spoilers can have their way. Wake up America.

What IS the Question?

“The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.” – Dietrich Bonheoffer
OR is it:
The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it teaches its children to cherish and pass on to their children!
Bohheoffer was correct in so far as he went. The greatest generation did what they could to leave us a free country but they didn’t demand enough of us. They didn’t demand that we understand how valuable freedom is. They didn’t demand that we cherish it as much as they did. It takes a very deep love of an idea to be willing to sacrifice your life to preserve that idea. But it looks like it takes an even greater love to indoctrinate your children with the reasons for that love and be willing to accept nothing less of them than that they grow to show as much love for what our Founding Fathers bought for us as they had and that the greatest generation tried to preserve.

What is the question?  The question is, do we love and cherish the truth of what the Founders gave us: the self-evident truths that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?

No nation before or since has recognized these truths enough to set the foundations of its government upon them. We the People are to govern.  If we cannot govern ourselves as individual citizens of a nation founded upon the recognition of these truths, if we allow people to live within our sovereign borders to deny these truths to others, we have lost what the Founders handed down.

Any person or group that cannot or will not live under the laws necessary to protect  the inalienable rights of the individual that our governmental structure was erected to protect is a lawbreaker, a criminal.  This in no way is meant to imply that there is no room for honest dissent.

At this moment we have in our midst a growing religion/political ideology/theocracy, that doesn’t recognize these truths.  In fact under their economy, truth is a convenience to be bent, twisted, denied or used to further their goal of domination.

Their goal is to obliterate from the face of the earth any and all other beliefs. These people are willing to use our very belief in individual freedom to create a condition within our borders that would force people to give up essential liberty for safety. Our Founders knew and were familiar with such seditious methods.  In fact, Benjamin Franklin said,  “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

What is the question?   Sharia and the Constitution cannot coexist within the same borders as rule of law.  The one denies the other. They are polar opposites  concerning the rights of the individual.  Are we willing to send those who profess and practice, and demand to live under Sharia, back to nations where that is the norm?  Can one claim citizenship in a place where he denies the authority of the government to enforce the law of the land and at the same time reserves to himself the right to enforce his own laws upon others?   No nation can survive that allows that to go on unopposed. Examples of failed states and states near failing are plentiful in the world today.  Must we fail as a state to show how tolerant we are?

Reason says they must either change to live under our Constitution and rule of law or we must demand that they leave, move to a place that welcomes their rule of law.
